Indoor Track comes back to California this winter with the "Run for the Dream" Indoor Track & Field Meet at Fresno's Sav Mart Center.  The super facility will feature a 160 meter track with a huge donation from long-time Pole Vault official Fred Arnold making that purchase possible.

The January 21st Meet Date, Martin Luther King Jr Day, will feature three meets.  The collegiate division of the second annual Run for the Dream will be the first meet on the new track featuring the indoor teams from Fresno State, Hawaii, Cal Poly, and Cal-State Stanislaus. Later in the afternoon, high school athletes drawn from across the state will take the track to compete in the high school "Dream Team Championships" with areas of the state competing against each other on an all-star team.  The day's events will culminate with the Visa Championship Series USA vs. the World with some of the nation's best athletes, including NCAA Champions, World Record Holders and Olympic Champions.

Being this period of the year there can be no school involvement with the athletes and the representation of their schools in this meet and involvement needs to be done "unattached" from their area of the state.
